CCTV installation in Mumbai

CCTV installation for Mumbai businesses

Space and salt air shape most CCTV decisions in Mumbai. Offices in Lower Parel, BKC and Andheri often occupy part of a floor in a high-rise where the society or facility team controls the common areas, so your cameras usually need to stay within your premises and route cables through ceilings the building has approved. Shops in Dadar, Crawford Market or Linking Road deal with narrow frontages, heavy footfall and shutters that open straight onto the street.

Beyond the island city, the warehousing hub of Bhiwandi and the industrial belts of Thane, Turbhe and Taloja hold large sheds with high racking and constant truck movement. We plan for each setting, supply IP and analogue cameras with matching recorders, add door access or biometric terminals where needed, and set up viewing so a manager at head office can see every site. Maintenance visits by our Mumbai partner are agreed in advance.

Our only office is our headquarters in Bengaluru. In Mumbai, ITVerse dispatches its local technical partner once you approve the quotation, and we remain your contact for support and warranty claims.

Areas we work in include

  • Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC)
  • Lower Parel and Worli
  • Nariman Point and Fort
  • Andheri East and SEEPZ
  • Powai
  • Malad and Goregaon
  • Thane
  • Navi Mumbai (Vashi, Airoli)

Local considerations

What matters for CCTV installation in Mumbai

Salt air and the monsoon

Near the sea, in Colaba, Worli, Bandra or along the Navi Mumbai creek, salt and humidity are hard on metal fittings. Cameras should carry a strong IP rating and corrosion-resistant housings, junction boxes must be sealed, and cables protected where rainwater runs. The four-month monsoon makes pre-season checks a sensible part of any AMC.

High-rise floors and society rules

Commercial towers and housing societies usually require permission for drilling, work in common areas and noisy jobs, and may limit work to certain hours. We share a method statement and camera layout with the facility office in advance, and keep recorders inside your premises in a locked rack or cabinet rather than in a shared shaft.

Narrow shopfronts and busy counters

Mumbai shops are often deep and narrow, with the counter close to the door. One camera facing the entrance at face height, one above the cash counter and one covering the back storeroom suit many layouts. Because shutters open directly onto the pavement, we avoid outdoor cameras that passers-by can reach or knock out of position.

FAQ

CCTV installation in Mumbai: FAQs

Is ITVerse based in Mumbai?

No. We are based in Bengaluru, which is our only office. Our local partner covers Mumbai, Thane, Navi Mumbai and Bhiwandi for surveys, installation and maintenance, and each visit is planned and set out in the quotation. Reach us on +91 81500 17386 or info@itverse.in.

Can you install cameras in a housing society or commercial building?

Yes, with the management committee’s or facility office’s approval. We prepare a layout showing camera positions, cable routes and the recorder location, so the committee can review it before work begins. Who owns common-area cameras, and who may view their footage, is best agreed within the society beforehand.

How do you protect cameras from salt air?

We choose outdoor cameras with a suitable IP rating and housings that resist corrosion, use stainless or coated brackets and screws, and seal every outdoor cable joint. Preventive AMC visits include checking housings for moisture, cleaning lenses and replacing degraded seals, with any parts quoted before replacement.
